Join us at Ulna Studio for an Colored Pencil Workshop with Lettie Jane Rennenkamp.
Colored pencil are an incredibly versatile, portable, and easy to clean up art making tool. Over the course of this 4 week workshop students can expect to learn how to use colored pencils through both fundamental and expressive exercises. We will explore blending techniques, layering, and color.
The class will provide you with one sketchbook and you be expected to purchase your own Prismacolor colored pencils.
About the instructor: Lettie Jane Rennekamp is an illustrator and artist based in Portland, Oregon by way of Kentucky. Her illustrations are bold and tender at the same time, depicting motherhood, varying versions of gender expression, community, and nature all together. About our classroom space: Ulna studio is a creative space located on the 2nd floor of the Portland Storage Building on SE Morrison st. There is NOT always elevator access for arrival/departure to your in-person class. Students always have the option of coming and leaving via a staircase.
